The 2010 CBDNA Eastern Division Conference will be held on March 11-15, 2010 on the campus of West Chester University, West Chester, Pennsylvania.  The event will be held in conjunction with the 63rd Annual Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band Festival with Guest Conductor Dennis Fisher of the University of North Texas.


The Gotham Wind Symphony, Mike Christianson, conductor will introduce a full schedule of conference performances with a Thursday evening concert.  The Friday evening concert will feature the United States Military Academy Band at West Point.  Colonel Timothy Holtan conducts the World Premier of John Mackey’s Concerto for Trombone and Wind Ensemble with Joseph Alessi, principal trombonist of the New York Philharmonic.


The Acadia University Wind Ensemble, Messiah College Wind Ensemble, Susquehanna University Symphonic Band, Rhode Island College Wind Ensemble, West Chester University Wind Ensemble and Williams College Symphonic Winds will round out an exciting slate of performances throughout the weekend.


The conference will also feature sessions by Frank Battisti, Donald Hunsberger, Stephen Budiansky and Mark Fonder.
